Couch-to-5k Running Plan


Join this program where the goal is to get you from a couch potato to a runner. to help you transform your sedentary lifestyle into an active one and incorporate running into your daily life. This running program is for beginners but we certainly welcome more advanced runners who are looking for some structure. The plan's manageable expectations makes this program fit anyone and its structure allows for early success.

 Precision Fitness coach Mike Smith will lead this progressive 6-week program. Through a series of carefully constructed workouts participants will advance from a non-runner or novice to feeling confident in knowing you will finish strong.
    -    USA Track and Field as well as USA Triathlon 
    -    National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist

***Participants can use this time to prepare for our Cornelius PARC 5K Race on May 13. held in conjunction with the Caldwell Station Creek Greenway grand opening.
