MLB Pitch, Hit & Run 2017

Overview


Pitch, Hit & Run is intended to encourage youth participation and emphasize the FUN element of baseball and softball competition. The individual Pitching, Hitting and Running Champions, along with the All-Around Champion in each age group at the Local Competition, will be awarded and invited to advance to the Sectional Competition.  Participants will have the chance to advance through four levels of competition, including Team Championships at Major League ballparks and the National Finals at the 2017 MLB All-Star Game. 

The towns of Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville are now partnering to offer this local competition.

Event Details

Join us at McEver Fields, 626 South Street in Davidson, on Saturday, May 6.
  • On-site registration begins at 3:45 p.m. Expedite the process by registering in advance online*
  • Competition begins at 4 p.m.
  • Ages 7-14 
  • FREE
  • Boys and girls will have the opportunity to compete and be awarded separately in four age groups: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14.  Age is determined as of July 17, 2017. 
  • All participants must provide a copy of a valid birth certificate for age verification.       
  • Regardless of a player's preference, PHR guidelines require that all boys participating in PHR will use a baseball and follow the baseball guidelines and girls will use a softball and follow the softball guidelines.
