Administration
The Town Manager's office is responsible for executing the Town's strategic plan, supporting the Mayor and Town Board of Commissioners, and the daily operations of the Town.

 

Finance
The Finance Department is responsible for the Town's finances including tax collection, procurement and the operating and capital budget.

 

Fire Department

Parks, Art, Recreation, Culture (PARC)

Planning & Zoning
The Cornelius Planning Department is responsible for developing and enforcing the Town's Land Development Code, reviewing zoning permit applications, reviewing all plans & plats for Cornelius developments among other things related to planning and transportation.

 

Police
The Cornelius Police Department is responsible for enforcing the law, as well as offer many services and programs to the community such as D.A.R.E. and Adopt-a-Pet.

 

Public Works
The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining street lights, Town owned property - including Town-owned streets - as well as coordinating efforts with the Town's vendor for garbage collection, yard waste and recycling.
