Capital Projects The Town of Cornelius is committed to making Cornelius a great place to live, work and play. To reach these goals, the Town is engaged in several capital improvement projects. Catawba Ave & Hwy 115 Rail Crossing Update:
The intersection of Hwy 115 & Catawba Avenue will be closed Tuesday March 16, 2010 thru Thursday, March 25th to complete an extension of a water line from the railroad tracks to an existing line in Catawba Ave. All other traffic will be re-routed via Mulberry, Oak, Hickory & Zion Streets. Truck traffic is encouraged to find alternate routes for delivery other than the detour. For more information in regards to this closure click here.
