Full Day Camps

Summer Day Camps (SDC): Need an entire workday filled for your child? These full-day summer camps  are headquartered at Bailey Road Recreation Center (Bailey Middle School) and include games, crafts, learning, nearby park visits, special guests, and fun! Plus, field trips are back! Each week explores a different theme. Camps are offered 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. for boys and girls, ages 6 to 12. Register online or in person at Cornelius Town Hall.

PLEASE NOTE: All full-day campers must be 6 years old by the first day of the camp(s) they will be attending and have completed Kindergarten.

CORNELIUS PARENTS OF FULL-DAY CAMPERS, YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE PROOF OF RESIDENCY TO OUR OFFICE BY THE FRIDAY BEFORE CAMP STARTS OR WITHIN ONE (1) WEEK OF REGISTERING, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST. Documents may be brought to Town Hall, 21445 Catawba Ave; mailed to PO Box 399, Cornelius, 28031; faxed to 704-896-2462; or emailed to pr@cornelius.org. Acceptable documents include valid driver's license, utility bill, apartment lease, etc.


Half/Partial Day Camps

NEW SERIES: Summer Recreation Experience (SRE)

We are excited to present a new camp series this summer, with one half-day (3 hour) camp per week over nine weeks. This year's offerings are designed to provide fun, fascinating science camps and unique, educational interactions with Cornelius’s finest, solving crimes and learning about water and boater safety! Both morning and afternoons options, for boys and girls, ages 6 to 14. Register online or in person at Cornelius Town Hall.  

Summer Sports Camps (SSC)

Try out some of over 40  half-day (3-hour) camps in a variety of sports, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cycling, disc golf, flag football, golf, lacrosse, multi-sport, pickleball, rugby, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball. In a new format this year, our T-Ball camp for ages 5 & 6 is a 2-hour camp! Most camps are offered in the mornings plus a few in the afternoons, for boys and girls, ages 5 to 14. Register online or in person at Cornelius Town Hall.
