Join the Cornelius PARC Department as we offer free play pickleball for adults ages 50 and up. This increasingly popular sport will be for beginner and intermediate players. It is a fun sport that will provide you with a great workout while also offering a very social and competitive game.
We will have courts designated for beginners and for intermediate players.
Pickleball is played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles. It is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Read the Pickleball Rules.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 concerns and restrictions, indoor Pickleball for Seniors is canceled until further notice.
