Join us for Active Living Fit Club, taught by Claudia Oliphant, a Certified Fitness Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach. This 6-week fitness program is designed specifically for active adults 50 and up. Participants will take part in active and functional resistance exercises to increase muscular strength and improve mobility, all while improving overall balance and neuromuscular skills.
Different weeks will focus on:
- Low intensity
- Medium intensity
- Strength
- Aerobic
- Stability
Participants must bring:
- Yoga mat
- Water bottle
- Towel
- Hand weights, depending on comfort level - recommendations:
- For women, 5-8 pounds (or what feels comfortable for you)
- For men, 8-10 pounds (or what feels comfortable for you)
