The Town of Cornelius is making improvements to the Jetton Road Extension/Sefton Park Road corridor, from West Catawba Avenue to Liverpool Parkway. These safety improvements include:

• Widening each travel lane to 11’
• A 5’ wide bike lane on each side of the road
• A 10’ wide multi-use path on the south side of the roadway
• A 5’ sidewalk and 5’6” planting strip on the north side of the roadway
• The elimination of on-street parking
