[ARCHIVED] Rescheduled Community Shred Event

Shred Event

On Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Cornelius Police Department, Truliant Federal Credit Union and Shred-It will host a Community Document Shredding Event in the parking lot of Cornelius Town Hall, 21445 Catawba Avenue. The Document Shredding Event is FREE to the community. Due to heavy volume, Truliant & Shred-it may end the event prior to 12:00 p.m. due to truck capacity, equipment failure, bad weather or any other unforeseen event.

We ask that everyone remain in their cars when arriving to the event. Officers will be out assisting with directions.

There will be a 4 box maximum per resident or business. Boxes are to not exceed a normal file box size. The public is encouraged to bring documents such as obsolete tax documents, financial statements, cancelled checks, insurance documents, business records or any records that they want safely destroyed to this event. There is no need to remove clips, staples, or binders from these documents.
