[ARCHIVED] 2020 Adopt-A-Family for the Holidays Program

Adopt a family tree

The 2020 Adopt-A-Family Program for the Holidays with the Cornelius Police Department is underway!

We would like to thank everyone who has signed up to become a sponsor so far. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accept anymore sponsors. Should this change, we will re-open the link. If you would like to still help in some way by giving this season, we will be collecting gift cards to grocery stores/restaurants/other local retail stores. These gift cards will then be dispersed among the list of families we have for this year's program. Should you wish to donate gift cards, they may be brought to the Police Department anytime Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

For our sponsors, we will provide you with a wish list from a family in the coming weeks.  We recommend 3 gifts per child, with a maximum dollar amount of $40.00 per item.  We ask that you please follow this rule to keep it the same for all the families and sponsors.  Please consider at least 1 clothing item and 2 items from the wish list.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 this year delivery to the families will be different. We ask that all sponsors please bring your gifts to the Police Department by Wednesday, December 16. All gifts MUST be wrapped and labeled with your family’s code before bringing them to the Police Department.

For additional information, please contact Corporal Graham Smith at (704)892-1363.
