On Monday, March 25, 2013, Officer D. Messer was sworn in to the Cornelius Police Department. A native of Charlotte, Officer Messer graduated from Basic Law Enforcement Training with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Department in 1994. He has been in Law Enforcement for 19 years.
