On Friday, October 17, 2014, Officer K. Johnson was sworn in to the Cornelius Police Department. A native of Wilmington, NC, Officer Johnson has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University. She has been in Law Enforcement since 2009 and recently worked from the University of North Carolina Charlotte Police Department.
