The Cornelius Police Department recently held swearing in ceremonies for Officer J. Mason and Officer J. Williams.

A native of Iredell County, Officer Mason graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He completed Basic Law Enforcement Training at Southwestern Community College in September 2015.

Officer Williams also graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He completed Basic Law Enforcement Training at Southwestern Community College in August 2008. Officer Williams was an officer for six years with the Morrisville Police Department and has earned his Intermediate Law Enforcement Certificate.
