Legion Park is a seven-acre facility located in the heart of old town Cornelius and features an historic marker and bench beside the old spring (Spring Street). The marker highlights the historic significance of the spring, which was once a source of water for the town. It was also an early encampment site for Revolutionary War soldiers. 

CLOSURE NOTICE:

Due to outfield repairs at Legion Park, the ballfield is closed to athletic play until further notice. Learn more about the current drainage issue  and repair plans.
